Charming bistro in the park with a touch of art

Charming bistro in the park with a touch of art

How better to tell the story of a place than at the table? In the Bishop’s Inn, the nobility of 1831 meets the present. The neoclassical building, commissioned by Bishop Vurum, was once a refuge for travelers and later a renowned café. After years of decay, today it shines with nobility and elegance, complemented by carefully chosen details of table setting.

A history that continues at the table

The preserved façade, columns and coat of arms above the entrance tell the story of the past, while the modern interior and terraces with views bring the calm of today. Here the past doesn’t look down from the walls – it takes a seat at the table, where porcelain from Gaya Rustico and carefully selected table details enhance the stylish atmosphere of the bistro.

Where did it come from?

The roots of the bistro reach into the heart of France. In the streets of Paris, with chalk-written daily menus and simple dishes served with French ease, a unique concept was born.

The sweet face of history

The shade of trees and soft light create a scenery with a gentle touch of nostalgia – as if from times when artists strolled through parks, held long conversations over afternoon coffee, enjoyed desserts, and time passed more slowly. This peaceful moment comes alive today in the bistro, where coffee and desserts are served in artisanal quality.

Did you know that...

The park, where linden alleys and the river quietly whisper stories of the past, creates the perfect setting for casual dining. This space, filled with history, invites you to dine in an environment that combines natural beauty with the elegance of past times.
